For USB v2.0 CD-RW device, you don't need to install any driver except Win98. If the OS of your platform is one kind of WinMe/2000/XP, the OS default driver would auto-detect your USB2.0 writer, but if the OS of your platform is Win98, you need to install the specific driver when you install it at first time.
